Winter Fundraiser Event 12/18/21

The Harrison County Republican Party enjoyed an evening to remember on 12/18/21.  We were so grateful to be joined by such a supportive crowd of energized conservative voters and thankful for the officials who we have voted for to be present with us and celebrate our growing voter base!

At the Cynthiana Country Club, we hosted 75+ guests and were joined by Congressman Thomas Massie, Secretary of State Mike Adams, State Representative Mark Hart, State Representative William Lawrence, and State Representative Savannah Maddox.

The evening began with mingling and introductions, followed by enjoying Avi’s mouth watering desserts while listening to our elected officials discuss their experiences and plans for the future of Kentucky.

We had the opportunity to hear from many of our Republican Party Candidates who attended the event! Our local elected officials in attendance who are seeking re-election, were Magistrate Al Stakelin of the 8th district and Constable Darrell Florence of the 8th district.  Magistrate candidates Charlie Garnett of the 4th district,  Jeremy Burden of the 5th district, HD Batson of the 6th district, Jason Palmer of the 3rd district, Chris Philpot of the 8th district, and Bubby Northcutt of the 3rd district spoke of their reasons for seeking election and of their aspirations.  County Judge/Executive candidates Jason Marshall and Scott Herrington both shared their vision for the office.

We are thankful for the party volunteers who shared their time to make this event so successful. Our planning committee worked seamlessly as a team to plan this reception and were Chairman Mike Fisher, Avi Bear, Jason Marshall, Ginni Marshall, HD Batson, and Cindi Batson.  Thank you to Denise Marshall for making the venue beautiful!  Thank you to Avi for the desserts and arranging for the JB Kendall Band to share their gift with us.  We are grateful to Melody Bills-Hubbard for photographing the event! Thank you Jason and Ginni Marshall for helping get the beautiful invitations printed and distributed widely, for general organizing and serving the night of the event.  Thank you to HD Batson for helping our decorative mascot “Big Jim” get settled into the venue and getting back out safely.  We are grateful to everyone who brought an item for our silent auction and to Jim Campbell for his hand in the woodworking component of crafting “Big Jim.”  There are many more people to thank for the success of this event and if you participated behind the scenes, know we are grateful.
