I am a husband, a father, a friend, a Harrison County native, a long-time taxpayer, a conservative and an accountant.

I graduated from Harrison County High School in 1996, was employed locally at the time of graduation, served as a corrections officer of the Lexington-Fayette County Urban Government while attending college at Sullivan University.  In 2005 I graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and I currently am employed as a Financial Analyst specializing in government contracts.  I have 17 years of financial management and accounting experience.

While I was excelling in my education, Cindi, my wife accepted a position as a traveling nurse and we spent a few years experiencing life in various cities a few months at a time.  During those years, I learned that although the cities are fun for a time, nothing feels like home quite like Harrison County, Kentucky.  We made the decision to return home to live out the American dream.  We both quickly became gainfully employed, settled on a small farm near Connersville with a couple of horses, and tilled a garden.  After a few years we began our family.  Our greatest blessings are our three wonderful children ages 11, 9, and 4.
