Jeremy Burden (R), a lifelong resident of Harrison County is seeking election as magistrate of District 5.

He is a 1999 graduate of Harrison County High School and a self-employed welder and farmer.

Together, he and his wife Stephanie (Pierce) Burden also own and operate The Flower Depot.

They have two daughters, MaKenzie, 13, and Molly, 11. His is the son of Connie Burden and the late Kenny Burden.

District 5 is comprised of the Northside and Central precincts of Harrison County.

Burden will be on the May 17 ballot.
“Being accessible is the key to conveying the citizens’ concerns and wishes,” Burden said.
