About Jason Marshall
I am a devoted husband, father, son, friend, farmer, and businessman. My wife Ginni and I have been married for 25 years and we have three sons, Caleb 24, Connor 20, and Carsen, who is almost 16. I have lived and farmed in the Buena Vista community all of my life. I own and operate two small businesses in Harrison County, KY.
After much deliberation, family conversation, and prayer, I made the decision to seek election for County Judge/Executive, because I believe that it is time for us, as citizens, to step up and make our voices heard and make our community better for our children. Although I had never set a goal to be involved in government, I also will not just sit on the sidelines while decisions are being made for all of us.
Guided by my moral and ethical values, I made the choice many years ago, to register as a Republican voter. I look forward to representing your conservative values here at home in the elected position of County Judge/Executive.
I have, for years, advocated for the right thing and will now accept this opportunity to make a positive difference in a meaningful way. I have made Harrison County my home and hope for my sons to find a life of happiness and prosperity here.
Why I am running for election and what I seek to accomplish:
Having the opportunity to interact with individuals within our community on a daily basis, I have been fortunate to hear concerns, comments, and feedback regarding improvements that can be made in Harrison County. I am motivated and have the energy and desire to do the work necessary to have a positive impact here at home.
When elected, I will ensure that our county is not left behind, I will work closely with our state legislators and officials to keep abreast of the policies and laws being implemented. I will work with our other local elected officials to ensure that we are communicating effectively and that our fiscal court is as transparent and accessible as possible. A clean county, clean water, recreation facilities that we can be proud of, and smoothly functioning day to day operations are all important issues to me. I look forward to hearing what is important to you as I walk this campaign path.
